Dr. Monika Yadav is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Mathematics at IIT Roorkee. She obtained her Ph.D. in Mathematics from IIIT-Delhi under the supervision of Prof. Anuradha Sharma. She completed her M.Sc. in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. She earned her B.Sc. (Hons) in Mathematics from Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, University of Delhi, securing the First Position at the college level with an outstanding academic record. Her research focuses on Algebraic Coding Theory, with a particular interest in linear and additive codes over finite fields and finite commutative chain rings.
She has authored multiple research papers in leading mathematical journals, including Finite Fields and Their Applications, Designs, Codes, and Cryptography, and Discrete Mathematics. Her work primarily explores MDS and almost MDS codes, self-dual and self-orthogonal codes, and their applications in error correction and secure communications. Her Erdős number is 4.
