We welcome motivated PhD students, postdocs, and research interns to work at the intersection of thin-film materials, electronic/spintronic devices, neuromorphic hardware, and magnetic sensing.
PhD Students
PhD projects span thin-film growth, device fabrication and characterization, and modeling using MuMax3, COMSOL, TensorFlow, and Python. Applicants from ECE, Physics, Electronics, Materials Science, and related disciplines are encouraged to apply.
We consider PhD applicants throughout the year, particularly candidates holding national fellowships such as UGC-JRF, CSIR-JRF, and INSPIRE (or equivalent).
You may also apply through the regular IIIT-Delhi PhD admissions cycle (typically twice a year).

Postdoctoral Researchers
Postdoctoral researchers are expected to lead high-quality publications, contribute to proposal development, and co-mentor graduate and undergraduate students. Desirable expertise includes thin-film growth, device fabrication and characterization, and modeling using MuMax3, COMSOL, TensorFlow, and Python. Candidates with complementary strengths beyond these areas are also encouraged to apply. We consider postdoctoral applications year-round, including candidates supported by national fellowship schemes.

Project Interns
We offer project internships (typically 8–12 weeks or one–two semesters) with a clear, well-defined deliverable. Expected outcomes include a simulation study, a measurement dataset with analysis, or a short technical report (and, where appropriate, a draft manuscript or conference abstract).
