Reporter: How did you meet with the accident?
Victim: I was returning home from my work it was around 7 PM in the evening. I was at the Shakti Nagar Chowk when the light was just about to turn red so I rushed through but surprisingly just after the turn, there was a pothole, the tyre of my car was just about to enter it to avoid which I moved the steering and ended up striking a divider very hard. My head hit Hard on the window and I became unconscious.
Reporter: It was very sad to hear that. What help did you get?
Victim: I was fortunate that there was a Sane man passing by who helped me and took me to the Aggarwal Dharmarth Hospital which was nearby and also informed my family.
Reporter: You are very lucky you got proper attention. What are your views about the condition of roads after the accident?
Victim: Road conditions are getting poor day by day. Potholes are being filled but they do come out again and again. Also, whenever MCD carries out the Pipeline works they leave the road as it is without filling these potholes properly. The Conditions worsen during Monsoons as at this time we can’t even see these potholes which result in many accidents.
Reporter: What steps you think should be taken?
Victim: Government should take care of road quality and also employ workforce for this purpose. Smooth roads will lead to fewer accidents.
Reporter: Did you face any problem during your treatment?
Victim: Not much problem was faced by during the treatment but whenever that very instant of accident comes to my mind I am horrified.
