Infectious diseases are major threats for mankind and affect the community at grass root level, posing a huge economic burden due to adverse effects on human health. Mathematical models are considered as one of the most effective tools to predict the transmission mechanism of various infectious diseases. Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) is a highly infectious virus that causes the severe respiratory disease to the human population, also known as Coronavirus Disease (COVID) emerged in China in December 2019 that spread rapidly all over the world and has become a pandemic and the biggest challenge to humanity at present. Although several vaccination programs are coming up with different degrees of success, all the countries are continuing to take steps such as social distancing, sanitization, use of face masks, etc. After more than a year, almost all the countries have relaxed the lockdown measures to open the economy and allowing public gatherings with some degree of precautionary measures. To eradicate the coronavirus pandemic, continuous propagation of awareness through social media advertisements is needed to encourage people for adopting preventive measures and undertake vaccination.
