APNNS/IEEE-GRSS Education Forum Series
APNNS/IEEE-GRSS Education Forum Series
About:
Deep learning, a subset of AI and machine learning, mimics human knowledge acquisition by performing tasks such as classification and pattern recognition across various data types like photos, text, and audio. It automates traditionally human-intensive tasks like image description and audio transcription. In the hierarchy of AI domains, deep learning is a component of AI, which encompasses machine learning. Approximately 35% of businesses globally currently use AI, with another 42% exploring its potential. Generative AI, a specialized deep learning technology, relies on robust models trained on unlabeled data, offering adaptability and scalability that accelerates AI adoption. IBM's trials suggest generative AI can deliver value up to 70% faster than traditional methods. Many industries are turning to machine learning algorithms to meet evolving consumer demands and streamline operations.
In the age of deep learning, it's crucial to enhance the researcher's understanding of the latest advancements and applications in this rapidly evolving field. This workshop aims to gather researchers from around the world to learn from experienced faculty at prestigious universities about related areas of study. The workshop will span five days and will cover fundamental concepts of AI and Deep Learning and their application in different domains.
The APNNS/ IEEE-GRSS Education Forum series presents the International Workshop on Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence (DLAI9), designed for students, engineers, researchers, industry professionals, and scientists with a foundational understanding of machine learning and AI. The objective is to create a platform for interested attendees to stay abreast of the latest developments in deep learning and artificial intelligence. DLAI9 also facilitates networking opportunities. Building on the success of previous DLAI events since 2018, we are delighted to host the 9th DLAI this year. This workshop is organized jointly by IIIT Bhubaneswar, APNNS, and IEEE-GRSS. The event will be conducted for five days and will comprise a series of talks, hands-on sessions, panel discussions, a geospatial hackathon, a 5-minute research presentation competition, networking sessions, etc.
Registration is now open. Please CLICK HERE and complete the registration form to participate in DLAI9. Please keep your ID proof (full-time student/academician/ industry professional) handy before proceeding with the registration. The number of seats is limited to 60 only. So, reserve your seat as soon as possible. The deadline for registration and fee payment is 4th September 2025
