Intelligent Interface

Intelligent interface, to enhance efficient interactions between user and databases, is the need of the database applications. Databases must be intelligent enough to make the accessibility faster. However, not every user familiar with the Structured Query Language (SQL) queries as they may not aware of structure of the database and they thus require to learn SQL. So, non-expert users need a system to interact with relational databases in their natural language such as English. For this, Database Management System (DBMS) must have an ability to understand Natural Language (NL). In this research, an intelligent interface shall be developed which translates natural language query to SQL using machine learning algorithms.

English to Indian Language & Vice Versa Machine Translation system

Language technology has reached an advanced level of maturity today, where it is making mass impact on users of English and many Indian languages of the world on various aspects of the language use. Indian language technology can enable people to access information in their own language. NLP technologies are the key to connect billions of people around the globe to access and avail the facilities, provisions, learning resources, knowledge, and benefits of the internet from education to communication and many other applications that can be provided to the future generations in their language of conveniences. This project proposes a Machine Translation System to facilitate translation (text-to-text) from English to Hindi, Marathi, Konkani, Gujarati, Punjabi, Sindhi, Urdu, Kashmiri, Oriya, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Dogri languages and vice-versa covering various domains (Governance and Policy (Primary), Science and Technology, Education, Health, Agriculture).
