Avik is a dedicated individual, a quick learner and is keen to gain knowledge in new areas and fields. He possesses the quality of punctuality and shows patience in difficult circumstances. He has an adaptive attitude towards new situations. He has an inclination towards nature and photography, with bird watching as one of his hobbies. He is also a national level shooter and the respective sport has instilled focus and commitment in him.

• Represented West Bengal in Shooting at various National Level competitions and won several medals at different levels.

• Awarded as the State Champion four times.

• Experience in carrying out the Asian Waterbird census in West Bengal.

• Participated in several wildlife photography competitions.

• Showed active participation in extracurricular activities and represented his college in various quiz competitions.

• Attended workshop on bioinformatics.

• He is an active member of the Nature and Photography club of IIFM.
