The Byzan Team Challenge is a fantastic tradition that began in 2012 for the faculty and staff of IICS. It was designed as an icebreaker activity to help new hires connect with current staff before the school year kicks off. Over the years, it has evolved into an exciting event filled with fun and engaging challenges. During its first year, the challenge featured 16 groups, each comprising 6 to 8 participants, who took on 50 fun and exciting challenges throughout the historic Sultanahmet area. The overwhelming success and enjoyment of this initial event led to its continuation for another two years, with participation extended to all staff members. Subsequently, the focus shifted to incorporating new hires, ensuring that they could experience this unique team-building opportunity.

Since its inception, the Byzan Team Challenge has become one of IICS's beloved traditions! Last year in October, during the CEESA Uni Career Fair held at IICS, we took it a step further by bringing together our own students and visiting students for an unforgettable challenge. It was a wonderful way to foster connections and create lasting memories. 

The Byzan Team Challenge not only serves as a platform for team bonding but also highlights the vibrant community spirit at IICS, reinforcing our commitment to creating a welcoming and collaborative environment for all staff and students.
