About the Teacher

Welcome! Here is a little bit about me.

I was raised in Anne Arundel county, and attended Catholic school from kindergarten. I graduated from Archbishop Spalding High School and then the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, where I majored in Fine Art with a concentration in Studio art.

In 2008 I began my career as an art teacher, and starting in 2012 I began working as the Art Director of Theatre at Archbishop Spalding on weekends.

I completed my Masters degree, in Leadership in Teaching, in 2014 at Notre Dame of Maryland and I hold a MD advanced teaching certificate.

In 2016 I was honored by being inducted into the Archbishop Spalding Fine Arts Hall of Fame.

I joined the IHM family in 2015-16 school year. I love our school community! Here at IHM I not only teach art but also moderate the NJAHS, the Eagle Eye Newspaper, and I am Technical Director of Theatre.
