Hello, 4th & 5th  Grade  Superstars!

 We are in full swing with Trimester 2! In 4th grade, Math students will be wrapping up Chapter 3 which focuses on multiplication. This week we will review all content from Chapter 3; Fact families, properties of multiplication, multiplicative comparisons, etc.  Students will have homework on these concepts as the week progresses. In 4th Grade Science, we will continue our first Unit focusing on Earth's landscapes. We will be exploring the topics of erosion, rock layers, and fossils. Students will be completing various experiments and comprehension activities on these topics.   In 5th-grade Math, we will wrap up Chapter 3, which focuses heavily on Division.  We will review all the concepts learned in the chapter. Please encourage your child to practice their facts.  In 5th grade Science, we will begin to continue our unit on Earth and our Solar System. We will begin studying the moon. Students will receive a "Moon Observation Journal" to complete nightly.  As we continue this school year,  let's turn to God for strength!
