Welcome to my Google site! I taught for BCPS back in the 90's. I took off many years to raise my three wonderful children. In 2016 I found my way back into the classroom here at IHM! I am so excited to be back to teaching! I taught at Johnnycake Middle School and Ridgely Middle School in Baltimore County before my children were born. During my years of teaching, I taught 6th, 7th and 8th grade. I taught Math, Science and Social Studies. During my time off, I continued to get involved in "teaching" opportunities. I coached softball and soccer for my children's teams. I ran and organized our community concession stand for many years. I worked in all of my kids classrooms as a Room Parent during their elementary years. I tutored students in the community in Math. And I substituted in BCPS for nine years. I am so thankful for the years I had at home with my kids and feel blessed that I was able to do so. However, I loved my years as a teacher and knew that one day I'd return. I come from a long line of teachers; my mom taught Elementary School, my dad was a Math Professor and my grandfather was a Chemistry Professor. Teaching is a part of me. I am super thrilled to teach again!
