Our Day in Pre-K3

Your children may come home with a few stories from today. First, our toilet was broken today. We are in the process of getting it fixed and will have a plumber visit our classroom tomorrow. We will not be here when that happens. We have plans to move to another area of the school when it is needed. 

Second, you may hear Mrs. Burns is mean and didn't let us play with the toys. This is half true. We are working hard on following directions and cleaning up. Yesterday, I told them that all my block area and kitchen area are closed. During clean-up time, only one friend stopped and cleaned up. We are now dialing the classroom back until everyone understands the concept of play time being over and clean-up time is happening.

 I am absolutely still putting toys out, it is just not as free anymore. We will get back to that, I promise.

 We had extra playground time today! Kindergarten asked us to stay and play since the rain was coming later. We all enjoyed getting to know the 5-year-olds! We were even able to see some siblings and friends!

Today, we practiced with scissors and had so much fun!
