India Heritage Cultural Center is a planned new facility next to the Hindu Temple (33916 155th Ln., Off Hwy 17, Madrid, IA 50156). For the past 15 years, while members of India origin and supporters have performed cultural activities and celebrated India’s rich heritage and festivals, they have been increasingly restricted by a limited space for the growing community and visitors. There is also a growing interest in more activities including: cultural celebration, social events, education, and community service.

The IHCC will help fulfil the long-standing vision. It will be a venue to strengthen the cultural, social, educational, spiritual, mental, and physical aspects of our lives and communities.  It will make our, and our children’s experiences richer by facilitating community-based activities that celebrate and share deep cultural values, heritage, ceremonies, languages, and arts.
