Basic Information

Objective

Ignite minds of IGNOU students and alumni to think creatively for their vision and ideas in the following thematic areas 

Eligibility

The contest is open to all IGNOU learners and alumni. Enrolment number must be mentioned on each entry. All entries should be submitted on an individual basis. No shared work is allowed 

Entry Limit

Only one poster per student on one theme. However, separate posters can be submitted on both the themes.

Themes: There are the following two themes for the Poster Making Competition

Theme-01: “How do I visualize Viksit Bharat@2047?

You may touch upon the following aspects.

Your main focus may be on how you will contribute in this regard.

Theme-02: “How do I visualize IGNOU in Viksit Bharat@2047?”

You may touch upon the following aspects.

What kind of changes, innovations and improvements would you like to see in admission, counselling, assessment, and evaluation system of IGNOU?

What type of teaching-learning approach do you visualise at IGNOU in 2047?

How can the ease of accessing teaching-learning material provided by IGNOU, various innovative formats of the self learning materials, providing instructions in mother tongue, inclusion of projects, research work, innovation and entrepreneurship related activities as a part of assessment, minimising student grievances, etc.?

How to ensure holistic development of students enrolled in different programmes of IGNOU?

What do you think about sustainable development of IGNOU, IGNOU in the world, and IGNOU as a major contributor in providing higher education to all?

Involvement of alumni in the growth and development of IGNOU by 2047.

Rules for Poster Making Competition

4. Poster can be made using pencil, crayon, watercolour, oil paint, etc.

5. It should be original, and handmade. Posters copied from any other source will be out rightly rejected.

6. The topic of poster and theme should be clearly mentioned at the Top Margin of the Poster.

7.  Any kind of plagiarism or any explicit content in the poster shall not be entertained at any cost and the participant will be disqualified. Self-declaration of originality of poster should be attached with the poster.

8. The non-compliance of any of the above points will lead to immediate disqualification.

9. The decision will be taken by experts and their decision will be final. No further queries in this regard will be entertained.

10. By submitting your poster, you are giving the right to use your poster to IGNOU.

11. The organizing team reserves the right to change or modify any of the rules.

12. Entries must be submitted through email to your Regional Centre with a copy to ncide@ignou.ac.in  in the format prescribed at point 8 of this document. The last date of submission is March 10, 2024.

Scoring will be done on the basis of the following criteria with emphasis on neat and clean work as well as creativity of the poster:
