MOE's Innovation cell awarded IGNOU with the highest Four Star rating for promoting innovations and startups in the University in 2023. It was the highest star rating during this year. 

MOE's Innovation cell awarded IGNOU with the highest Four Star rating for promoting innovations and startups in the University in 2022. It was the highest star rating during this year. 

MOE's Innovation cell awarded IGNOU with the highest Four Star rating for promoting innovations and startups in the University in 2021. It was the highest star rating during this year. 

IGNOU was awarded a Five Star rating by the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell for promoting innovations and startups in the University in 2020. It was announced by the Hon'ble Minister of Education in a function on October 15, 2020.
