Other Important Information

Video Submission PLEASE READ:

Any late, missing, incorrectly named videos including level assignments will be deemed as not reporting to compete. If time allows they might later be judged out of session but consequently not eligible for awards. If time does not allow they will be scored "0" for Did Not Start. The video folders are considered our Staging area and the meet cannot not be held up while we search for athletes who did not report to Staging for their flight.

Special Rules:

  1. All Tramp Levels will be judged without HD or ToF. Synch will be scored visually from the video, as best we can.

  2. Event Scores Calculated per USAG Virtual Competition Guidelines

  3. Tumbling athletes without access to complete floors and performing modified passes will be awarded separately, scored out of a "virtual 10" with average deductions from performed Back Hand Springs applied for BHSs deleted to fit the pass to available floor. Crashes and passes without required somersault dismounts will be judged incomplete with only skills performed counted.

  4. Reminder -- Typical Athlete Dress Code to be enforced. Examples: Loose long hair, jewelry, non-white foot covering, pants with decorations, stripes or designs other than allowed 1inch square manufactures logo will be deducted if noticed. Support tape, bandages and devices must be White, Tan, or Black. There was an announcement earlier this year about the "under garment showing" deduction no longer being enforced, but that was the only change to our athlete attire rules for this year.

  5. Videos must be of routines performed specifically for this Regionals and within 2 weeks of the event. It is allowed that individual States, or some teams within a State, complying with all their State/Local health regulations, may get together and stage a Regionals filming day, to provide some of the meet experience we're missing. Clubs would still have to submit individual videos for each athlete pass in accord with the scoring software instructions.

  6. Consult page 5 in the USAG Virtual Playbook for important information and additional video instructions
