Drum Horses and recognizes The Drum Horse as
a developing Breed.
F1 Drum Horse: 50% Gypsy Genetics and 50% Clydesdale, or 50% Gypsy Genetics and 50% Shire, or 50% Gypsy Genetics, 25% Clydesdale and 25% Shire.
F2 Drum Horse: 25% to 49.99% Gypsy Genetics, and Clydesdale and or Shire.
F3 Drum Horse: 6.25% to 24.99% Gypsy Genetics, and Clydesdale and or Shire.

Drum Horse Breeding Stock Stud Book is for Drum Horse Stock recognized and used for Breeding that do not meet the Gypsy Genetic percentage requirement to be eligible for the other IGEA Drum Horse Stud Books.
DRUM HORSE FOUNDATION BREEDING STOCK: Non Gypsy Genetics - used in the Breed Development of the Drum Horse being Clydesdales, Shires and Clydesdale crossed with Shire from registered Parents.
The IGEA INTL prefix: International, is a term to describe and designate, an IGEA Registered Gypsy equine that possesses 75 % or more Gypsy Horse genetics. Presently Stallions, Mares and Geldings of 75% or greater Gypsy Genetics are recognized with the INTL prefix added in front of their name. Gypsy Equines that possess less than 75% Gypsy Genetics, do not have the INTL prefix in front of their name on their Registration Certificate.
