Week of Play

IGBIS Imagination Foundation is turning 6!

Dear IGBIS Learning Community,

Please join your children and play with us on Monday (Oct 17) from 2:00-4:30 pm as we:

-design and build with cardboard

-paint on big sustainable canvas

-create story stones

-finger and hand paint our "creativity flags"

-exploring virtual reality tech

-play and problem solve with LEGO challenges

The IGBIS community values play and creativity as unique ways of expressing human ingenuity and powering innovation (one of our school pillars).

Together, with other play-inspired Imagination Foundation Chapters around the world and inspired by the short film, ‘Caine’s Arcade, we organize the Global Cardboard Challenge and Day of Play. These are annual events presented by the Imagination Foundation to celebrate children’s creativity and the role communities can play in fostering and promoting it.

Since 2017, we take time to play as a community, with all our learners and their families as a celebration of innovation and our way of showcasing what is important to our learning community.
