J-PAL South Asia will comply with all the prevailing health and safety guidelines in India to ensure a safe environment for all participants. However, make sure to  carry your Covid-19 vaccination certificate, as the hotel may require it.

Travel Insurance (International Participants)

An international travel insurance covers a range of emergencies for example severe medical expenses related to accidents, illness, COVID related medical costs, losing of baggage, passport etc. Your domestic medical plans are usually not valid outside your country. Additionally, you may need to procure health insurance to apply for a VISA. Please read carefully the minimum coverage needed to apply for a VISA at the embassy and procure travel insurance accordingly ahead of your VISA interview and travel. Even if you already have a valid VISA for the trip, please make sure that you procure travel insurance ahead of your trip.
