Our improvement goals for these courses are as follows:
Enhance students' digital competence by fostering the attainment of other skills:
a. Use of mobile devices as a driving tool for work both inside and outside the classroom.
b. Mobile devices as a central tool integrated with other competencies required for citizens in the 21st century.
Highlight the inclusive role of technology in achieving educational success for all students:
a. Mobile devices as a democratic tool within schools. Everyone has a mobile device. How do we use it securely?
b. What activities do we carry out to ensure that students learn about mobile technology? How do we incorporate the Sustainable Development Goals (ODS) in Torre del Palau?
Support schools and the educational community in the educational transformation process:
a. Internal training of teachers to acquire the knowledge established in the Mòbils.edu project.
b. School leadership teams as the core drivers of ICT acquisition for both students and teachers.
c. Students as digital mentors for adults.
To highlight and give value to these objectives, various activities have been carried out. The most significant ones include two teacher mobilities that inspired interdisciplinary projects in the first year of secondary education (ESO) during the 2022-2023 academic year. These projects will also serve as inspiration for upcoming levels in the 2023-2024 academic year when 2 other mobilites are taking place.
Additionally, exchanges of best practices have been developed among the schools within the microconsortium. Badalona VII visited Torre del Palau in the early third term, conducting peer observations of interdisciplinary projects in the first year of ESO. In turn, Torre del Palau visited Badalona VII to learn about their mentoring practices and engage in dialogue circles for tutoring and coordination.
The entire teaching staff at Torre del Palau has continued their digital training as part of the center's plan, building on the 90 hours of FIC (Initial Training Course) from Mòbils.edu.
The projects carried out by the teaching staff, primarily linked to the Erasmus+CETE+ project, have technology as a central axis. This allows them to construct final products that address knowledge related to various subjects while encompassing a generalized perspective on Sustainable Development Goals (ODS).
The interdisciplinary projects have been developed with different teachers within the same classroom. Despite engaging in co-teaching, we have not reflected upon nor reached any conclusions. In the upcoming academic year, we will include this aspect as a foundation for our learning in the Erasmus+CETE+ program.
