A matter of equity

"A matter of equity" project is an interlevel task between 6th and 8th graders exploring the topic of women's rights and achievements through storytelling. The objective is to craft narratives showcasing people overcoming challenges and achieving remarkable goals. In this collaborative activity, 6th graders need to invent original stories that highlight the achievements of fictional characters. Meanwhile, 8th graders explore on significant women in history, and adapting their lives and achievements into children's stories. Through this project, students  both invest int their language skills and acquisition as well as appreciate the efforts made by women throughout history, promoting empathy and gender equality. The teachers in the project used IA to prepare the activities for students, particulary Twee.IA. Students will also use the IA to create the images for their sotries making their outcome much more intersting and appealing(Copilot, Monika and Freepik). The 2 schools involved in this collaboration are Ins Torre del Palau and Escola la Roda. Both settled in Terrassa, Barcelona.
