Students discovering the suffragist movement in the US.
Once the month of March starts, students in Torre del Palau deal with the struggle and achievements of women throguth history. This is showcasted in different activities in several subjects and along the whole educational periode. during the 8th grade, learners deal with the American Suffragettes.
The first one is Abigail Adams, the 3rd 1st lady of the USA. She was the one who stepped out for women's rights during American Revolution.
After her, many others followed, but history has decided to veil them. 8th graders discover the words and efforts by Harried Tubman, Soujourney Truth, Alice Paul, Victoria Woodhall, Susan B Anthony and many others.

Timeless
Students watch an episode of Timeless, where the suffragist movement and its protagonists such as Alice Paul and president Woodrow Wilson is discussed. Timeless is an American sci-fi TV show where the protagonists travell in a time machine to save American history from an evil society that wants to change it. Hands on
Students choose one of the following women and create a story out of her life.
The objective is to delve on a famous woman from the past or the present understanding her struggle and showcasting the importance of her job within society, history and women's achievements. Then, using their command of language and AI to create the images to accompany the story, they need to create a tale for kids. This is the model provided
In order to help them with the task, the teachers have prepared some self-correcting acitivities on different woment to help them develop the task.
