The first prototype was designed to work with Arduino UNO, a stepper motor and the RFID-RC522 card reader. All is assembled into a self-designed 3D printed case.
Second version is designed to work with Arduino Mega 2560, Ethernet Shield and the RFID-RC522 card reader. It has been used to develop the connectivity features. This features allows to collect number of times and the moment that each user pick a bag. Also is it possible to set a maximum bags per day for each user. The best point is that the software is escalable so we can add new sensors as GPS or Temperature.
For the final version I'm working in my own PCB, which will be able to satisfy all the on-street requirements, as 3G/4G connection or less energy consumption. Besides the implicit advantages as easier high scale production.
