OBJECTIVES:
Analyse the child labour situation during the Industrial Revolution and compare it with the present.
Investigate different aspects related to child labour during the Industrial Revolution and today.
Produce a poster synthesizing the information after the research.
COMPETENCES:
Competence 1. To analyse the changes and continuity of historical events in order to understand the historical causality.
Competence 3. To interprete that the present is a consequence of the past in order to understand that the future is a consequence of the present decisions and actions.
Competence 11.To form their own's criteria about relevant social problems to develop critical thinking.
Digital competence 4: To search, contrast and select appropriate digital information for the project, by considering different digital resources and media.
METHODOLOGY:
There will be some previous activities to focus on vocabulary. These activities will be done individually in class and corrected together.
You'll work in groups to create a poster.
WORKING GROUPS:
You'll work in groups of 4 people. Every group will have a different aspect to study the exploitation of children in more detail.
ASSESSMENT CRITERIA:
To know child labour characteristics during the Industrial Revolution and the present.
To identify and interprete various information resources and share the obtained information.
Create a poster summarising the information along the project.
