"In memoriam: la literatura del jo i Anne Frank" ha convertit una lectura literària en una experiència de memòria, creació i participació cultural. A través de l’escriptura, la il·lustració i l’edició de contes infantils inspirats en l’univers d’Anne Frank, l’alumnat ha esdevingut creador cultural actiu i transmissor de valors vinculats als drets humans, la convivència i la cultura de la pau.

El projecte ha traspassat els límits de l’aula i ha entrat en diàleg amb la comunitat a través d’una exposició pública a la Biblioteca Joan Corominas del Masnou, de publicacions digitals i de diferents espais de difusió cultural. Les produccions de l’alumnat han esdevingut una eina de reflexió compartida sobre la memòria democràtica i la necessitat de preservar-la.

L’impacte del projecte no es mesura únicament en els contes creats, sinó també en el procés documentat a través de les relatories, en la transformació de la mirada de l’alumnat i en la capacitat de generar preguntes, emocions i consciència crítica. La literatura ha deixat de ser només objecte d’estudi per convertir-se en una experiència cultural viva i compartida.

La projecció del projecte s’ha ampliat gràcies al contacte amb institucions vinculades al llegat d’Anne Frank, fet que ha reforçat la idea que la literatura, la memòria i l’educació poden establir ponts entre comunitats, generacions i contextos diversos.

Perquè recordar no és només mirar enrere: és també una manera de construir futur.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing on behalf of the Catalan Language and Literature Department at Institut Maremar, a secondary school in El Masnou, Catalonia, Spain.

The 1st-year ESO students, guided by their teacher Ruth Mohino i Balet, have carried out a creative project inspired by The Diary of a Young Girl: In memoriam. Literatura del jo i Anne Frank. As part of this activity, the students took on the roles of writers, illustrators, and editors in order to create children’s stories inspired by Anne Frank’s life and intended for younger readers.

This project has allowed students to develop their communicative and creative skills while encouraging a critical and reflective approach to Anne Frank’s work. The stories are conceived as free reinterpretations and creative readings of the original text, promoting values such as empathy, historical memory, human rights, and the importance of ensuring that such tragic events are never repeated.

We would therefore like to kindly ask whether it would be possible to share or publish these students’ stories through any platform, initiative, or educational space connected with the Anne Frank House, always respecting your guidelines and copyright policies.

We would be honored to receive your consideration and would be happy to provide further information or examples of the students’ work if needed.

We are very impressed by the project your students created. It is wonderful to see young people engaging with Anne Frank’s story in such a creative, reflective and meaningful way. The focus on empathy, historical memory and human rights is very much appreciated.

Unfortunately, we do not have space on our own platforms to publish or share external student projects. However, we would encourage you to explore online educational or literary platforms where the stories could perhaps reach a wider audience.

It may also be worthwhile to contact our Spanish-speaking colleagues at the Anne Frank Center in Argentina, who may possibly know of relevant educational initiatives or platforms in the Spanish-speaking world.
