The present project was born in an eTwinning project launched as the starting point of a school exchange for next year. The topic coincides with Erasmus + priorities, so the schools decided to extend the initial objectives and applied for a KA229 that may help to facilitate its achievement. The two schools have worked together previously, therefore it allow them to embark on this new Project as they know their weaknesses and strengths and how they can help each other.
The main objectives of the project are:
The project will be carried out continuously, many different subject will be involved int the Project ,developing integrated didactic units. Partners will be continuosly in virtual contact, not only the teachers, but also the students who will use eTwinning ,and in a more private environment, email.
This frequent communication together with the international meetings , will allow students to develo an European citizenship. Therefore , it is necessary that the largest possible number of students take part in the mobilities.
The project will also involve the families, so that the project's objectives also reach them, multiplying the impact.
To encourage this continuous presence, long-term mobilities will be introduced, the students who enjoy them will be the “ambassadors” in the partner school. These mobilities are understood by the schools as a piloting experience, with which they will develop material and knowledge to undertake them on a regular and lasting basis.
The analysis of the Cultural Heritage will be done during the first year, highlighting the obvious differences between the two countries. Thus, during the second year, students will highlight our cultural similarities and common past, breaking prejudices and enhancing the European values.
The IES Hermanos Machado will apply its knowledge in quality management to guarantee the quality of the project.
Both schools have proved their ability to disseminate the project’s results locally and regionally and in a more limited way internationally.
