Mobility March 23

AN INCREDIBLE WEEK!

During the week of March 22th to 29th, 19 students from Evangelisches Heidehof-Gymnasium of Sttuttgart and two teachers, traveled to Seville to participate in thelast mobility of the Erasmus project "1Future, 2 schools, 3 R's," which focuses on sustainability and has been a part of our curriculum for the last 3 years. Throughout this week, the students of both countries participated in two sustainability workshops at school and  in the city outskirts. They also had the opportunity to live with a Spanish family, try local cuisine, explore cultural sites, and visit the amazing Cordoba´s Mosque. It has been an unforgettable week.

German and Spanish students working cooperatively in the sustainability workshops. It has been a positive experience where they have been able to share and showcase everything they have learned in this project.

VISIT TO CORDOBA:  Cordoba is a faithful reflection of the powerful civilizations that have settled there. Romans, Moors, Jews and Christians have all left a deep mark on its heritage, culture, traditions and customs. The city of Cordoba boasts a wealth of cultural and monumental heritage bequeathed to it by the different civilisations that have settled here. In 1994 UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation) recognised the universal importance of its historical patrimony and extended the World Heritage Site to include not only the Mosque but also its surrounding urban area
