DAY 7:
DAY 7:
MALACCA
MALACCA
It is the very center of Malacca. Where there is more movement. Visit the Stadthuys or Town Hall Square, the Anglican Church of Christ, the Clock Tower, the Queen Victoria Fountain, the museums. We also recommend the night when the lights are turned on and transported to the colonial past of the city.
They are the ruins of what was a fort built by the Portuguese to defend against the constant attacks of the Dutch. It was built in 1511 under the command of Alfonso de Albuquerque. Precisely because of the continuous wars between these European powers there is not much left of the fort, but it is still an interesting place to visit. We recommend visiting this place early in the morning because after 10 am it starts to fill with tourists.
