ACTIVITY 7: WRITE A MYTH AND TURN IT INTO A COMIC STRIP. (GROUP)
Invent a story with mythical elements (you use what you have done in other subjects):
With this story, draw and write at least six panels (viñetas) following this structure for a comic:
Example:
1st panel: Title
2nd panel: Background
3rd panel: Rising action
4th panel: Climax
5th panel: Falling action
6th panel: Resolution
1. In your groups, discuss about the content of each panel:
the drawings
the text
the speech bubbles (bocadillos)
Complete the COMIC CHART (borrador) and send it to your Classroom.
2. Each student draws and writes at least one comic panel.
Then, cut and stick all of them in order to create a mythological comic on a piece of paper.
Finally, take a picture and upload it to Google Classroom.
ACTIVITY 8. ORAL PRESENTATION. (GROUP)
Use these questions to prepare your speaking:
What is the title of your myth?
What are the main characters? Describe them.
Are there other characters? Describe them.
Describe the background of the story: the time and place where the action takes places.
What happens first? Main event.
What are the main problems or conflicts?
How are the conflicts solved?
How does the story end?
Personal comment.
Practice in your groups, telling your presentations to your groupmates.
