This project was carried out by our students of 1EH. Let's see how they explain it:

"Etwinning is a web page that has helped students a lot by making classes more dynamic and helping students to know new cultures and people from other countries. The aim of etwinning is to create quizzes and stories that are connected with science .It is also a very good way to develop group thinking and collaboration skills. Nearly all people who have participated in it are highly satisfied.

At first we didn't know anything about it. But from every activity we made we learnt several parts of this great project. The first thing we did was presenting ourselves to other people so that we could know each other. This way, lots of people from different places could read our descriptions. Then we also made an avatar, kind of a virtual character, that may have helped in making an idea of how we are physically.

We also saw that the web could look more modern so teachers decided to make a logo competition in order to put an image to the etwinning project.

At the end of the course we were anxious to meet students from France. So we decided to make a videoconference, in which we met the french people and we got to know each other.

All in all, etwinning has been a great experience. The thing we liked the most was the videoconference because we finally could see the faces of people that have been working closely with us. We also enjoyed the logo competition, it helped us to develop our creativity. On the other side, there were also a few things that weren’t as good as we expected, but as i said, they are just a few ones. An example is a science story that we had to make up. It wasn’t as entertaining as we expected it to be but finally we ended up having a very nice plot. We highly recommend participating in this project. Hope we convinced you and we will be looking forward to your decision.
