Africa is the continent that has the highest prevalence of undernourishment. According to Mercy Corps, in sub-Saharan Africa, 243 million people face hunger. - According to WHO, the largest numbers of undernourished people in the world are in Asia, more than 500 million. Besides that, Mercy Corps affirms that hunger affects mostly the southern countries, like Indonesia, where 37.2% of children under 5 are stunted.
