INTRODUCTION:
April is the fourth month of the year in the Gregorian calendar, bringing with it the promise of spring and new beginnings. Named after the Latin word "aperire," which means "to open," April signifies the blooming of flowers and the renewal of nature. As winter's chill fades away, the days grow longer and warmer, encouraging outdoor activities and celebrations.
In many parts of the world, April is synonymous with a burst of vibrant colours, from the delicate pastels of cherry blossoms to the bright hues of tulips and daffodils. This month also marks significant cultural and historical events. For instance, in the United States, April is celebrated with Earth Day on the 22nd, a day dedicated to environmental protection and awareness. Additionally, the month is often associated with the observance of Easter, a significant holiday in Christianity, commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
April is a time of transformation, where the world awakens from its winter slumber, and life begins anew. It's a perfect opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature, embrace the outdoors, and engage in various festivities and traditions that bring communities together. Whether you're planting a garden, enjoying a picnic, or simply basking in the spring sunshine, April offers a refreshing and invigorating experience for everyone.
POSTCARDS:
-In this month of April, the 4th grade students of the ESO what we did was make letters for our colleagues in London, Paris, Rome, Prague and Barcelona since it was related to an activity of the eTwinning project. We all really liked the activity since it was a dynamic activity where we had a great time making the cards.
