Class Description

During the course of the year we will be studying all aspects of Minnesota; everything from the history to current events. We will begin by learning the basics of Minnesota, including the major cities and state symbols. From there we will move into the history of Minnesota as a state and the roll it plays in the United States as a whole. Finally we will end with current issues and important topics that affect the daily lives of our students along with an introduction to Economics. We will be using the Northern Lights textbook developed by the Minnesota Historical Society.
