Cohort courses are offered on a 12-week or 16-week schedule, following traditional school calendars, with the exception of a six-week driver education course available throughout the year. In cohort courses, students advance through the material together asynchronously, allowing students to complete the course material anytime and anywhere with internet access.
IDLA is transitioning from two Learning Management System (LMS) platforms to a single platform called Buzz. This change will begin with select courses in Fall 2025 and aims to provide the best possible online learning experience for students, teachers, and support staff.
Our program formats: Cohort, Flex, and Credit Recovery will remain the same; only the LMS is changing, with a full rollout planned for Fall 2026.
Each section is separated based on the LMS as needed.
