Northstar
Northstar Announcement:
"We are pleased to announce two new releases:
Recent releases include:
The curriculum for Accessing Telehealth Appointments
NSOL for Google Docs
Spanish translations for:
The Windows assessment and NSOL module
Audio for the videos in the the previously released Spanish translation of Basic Computer Skills NSOL module
There are directions in our manual explaining how to access materials that have been translated into Spanish.
If you have any feedback regarding the Spanish versions of assessments, please complete this survey.
The Spanish versions of the Excel assessment and NSOL, as well as the new NSOL for Mac, will be released soon. In response to requests from a number of our networks, we are beginning to translate our classroom curricula into Spanish, beginning with Basic Computer Skills. We are also in the process of translating audio for the videos in NSOL Spanish language modules that have previously been released.
The second phase of our Spanish translation, covering the Telehealth assessment. We chose this as the second assessment to translate, as health equity is such an overwhelming and pressing issue for many Spanish speaking individuals and families. There are directions in our manual explaining how to access materials that have been translated into Spanish.
Northstar Online Learning (NSOL) for PowerPoint, bringing to eight the total number of NSOL modules currently available.
We plan to release all remaining NSOL modules, as well as Spanish versions of all Northstar assessments, over the next several months, hoping to have all of these completed during the first part of 2023. We will translate the assessments for Internet Basics and Using Email next, and complete NSOL for Social Media and Google Docs. The target date for completion of the Telehealth curriculum is November (which will complete the curriculum suite for all 15 of our assessments)."
