WHAT HAPPENED: iDE has launched our new 10-year strategy to power 1 million women entrepreneurs to foster prosperity for 100 million people.
WHEN: September 23, 2024
WHERE: Everywhere a woman stands up to make a better life for them, their family, and their community. They don't need a launch and they aren't waiting around for permission. They have the fury and they can use your support.
iDE team was in NYC on launch day working to rally other organizations the same week that U.N. officials gathered from around the world.

More than half of the people in the world — 4.7 billion people — live below the economic empowerment line—that marker where families have sufficient income to invest in education, housing, energy and water for the household, access to healthcare and sanitation, and improved nutrition to thrive for the long-term.
When women take charge of decision-making, household incomes can rise by more than 5 percentage points, and families and communities experience a 20 percentage point boost in dietary diversity, food security, and overall resilience.
When women are supported, whole communities benefit. For countries and communities experiencing rising rates of hunger, nutrition outcomes for families improve when women are supported to prosper and grow.
