Welcome to Design Central for the USU Statewide Enterprise Redesign initiative
We're excited to introduce Design Central, powered by DESIGN+, the virtual hub for the Statewide Enterprise redesign initiative at Utah State University. This platform provides essential information, links to surveys and resources, and keeps you updated on our progress. Your input is crucial to this process, and we encourage you to visit Design Central and actively participate in shaping the future of our Statewide Enterprise.
The site will be continually updated with new information.
Utah State University is on an exciting path of growth, optimization and modernization across the enterprise. A critical part of that is focused on the Statewide Enterprise (SWE) representing 30 statewide campuses and centers (including 2 residential campuses), Extension offices, Extension gardens and centers, and 5 USU small business development centers.
USU's statewide campuses and Extension serve all of Utah's 29 counties and includes the Bastian Agricultural Center, Swaner EcoCenter, USU Botanical Center, and the Ogden Botanical Center.
The purpose of this project is to: 1. Understand and address the current state i.e., what is, 2. Explore future aspirations and hopes, i.e., what might be, and 3. Determine courses of action to maximize the academic excellence, access, and impact of the Statewide Enterprise to better serve the educational and economic needs of Utah communities now and into the future.
Why should USU be the #1 choice for higher education in Utah?
How might we transform how we are organized and how we operate to create more value in a changing environment?
How might we better serve an evolving, diverse population while aligning with economic, workforce, and community needs to create meaningful impact?
