The ICT in Schools team deliver a range of centrally delivered courses throughout the year all of which can be easily booked by emailing Julia Small:

Our courses are free to schools who are part of our service offer and can be accessed when applicable by other schools at a cost of £40.00 + VAT per attendee.
All 30 Minute Boosts, Apple RTC and Computing Subject Leader meetings/workshops are free to all schools.

First attend the training course.
Then book your class in for a half day visit to The Word to try out what you did on the course.
Each person who attends the course is eligible for the half day visit at 30 points instead of 60 points.

Short on time but keen to enhance your computing lessons? Our 30-Minute Boosts are designed for Primary teachers who want quick, practical professional development without the time commitment of a full course.
Join us online via Google Meet from 4:00 PM – 4:30 PM for these focused sessions, covering essential tools and techniques to boost your confidence in delivering the computing curriculum.
