As young people spend more time online there is also an increase in the chances they will see something online which isn't intended for them.

Reporting

If you want to report someone who is behaving suspiciously online towards a child, you should in an emergency contact the emergency services by calling 999, or otherwise make a report to CEOP, the Child Exploitation Online Protection Centre, see www.ceop.gov.uk.

Internet watch foundation

We work to make the internet a safer place. We help victims of child sexual abuse worldwide by identifying and removing online images and videos of their abuse. IWF search for child sexual abuse images and videos and then we have them removed. Our Hotline offers a safe place for the public to report anonymously.
