IHS Community members who want to take home food, need to fill out an order form by the end of Universal Lunch (12:12 pm) for same day fulfillment of their order. Orders of food through the Community Market are free and confidential for all. Orders are filled by volunteers during periods 6 and 7. 

People who ordered by the end of UL can pick their bagged orders up at the end of 7th period. After the 3:40 bell, please go directly to the Community Closet (cafeteria hallway entrance) and pick up your bag. Unclaimed orders will be put back into inventory the following day at UL. 

The Community Market is in partnership with the Food Bank of the Southern Tier, and works closely with ICSD Child Nutrition and Food Services. We don't compete with the cafeteria by offering grab-and-go food during the school day. The Community Market can provide food to take home, and we don't want you walking around with frozen blueberries leaking all over your backpack. The end of the day pickup allows enough time to fulfill orders while ensuring students don't miss the bus.
