During a school trip in the first weeks of our school year, we had the opportunity of going to the Monza park. There, we noticed that some signs talking about a dangerous alien spacies that was damaging the trees: it was the Takkashia Japonika. We could also see many gray squirrels populating the area.
These observations led us to wanting to understand what is the health state of the Monza park and the Lambro river, which passes through it. We researched through newspaper articles, institutional documents and reports from research organizations.
