ICSAtlanta ESOL

The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program is offered to all multilingual learners at ICSAtlanta who meet the eligibility criteria set by the Georgia Dept. of Education.   The ESOL program supports learners by developing both English language proficiency (ELP) and academic language proficiency in content-area subject matter. 

 It is our goal for students to be proficient in all five language skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing and comprehension) The WIDA English language Development Standards Framework and Georgia Standards of Excellence guide the instruction and assessment of our English language learners.
