Dear ISSEA Football Players, Coaches, Supporters,

    When we think of "football," we are immediately inspired to think of the world and the international community.  More than any other sport, football is truly an international game.  And as the National Basketball Association (NBA), Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Football League (NFL), and other popular sports leagues try to expand into the global market, football has already won the hearts of so many in the world.

     All of our Girls and Boys teams at this 2024 ISSEA championships in Ethiopia highlight this worldwide appeal, as our cadre includes teams that come from neighboring countries of Kenya and Tanzania and those who have traveled much farther from South Africa and Mozambique.  8 different nations of schools are represented here this week in Addis Ababa, but even more impressive is this fact: participating are students from over 50 nationalities who come from as far as South Korea, Benin, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Zambia, Brazil, Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, England, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, India, Senegal, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, USA, Argentina, South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique . . .  and the list goes on!  Our conference championship truly is an excellent symbol for the great world sport of football.

     With this awesome thought in mind, I wish all of the teams the best of sporting experiences in the coming days and the greatest success for you and your teams.  ICS is honored to welcome you, and we look forward to seeing you soar to new heights!
