Welcome! 

This is my 4th year of teaching 2nd grade and I am loving it! I am looking forward to this 2023-2024 school year!  

This is my 24th year of teaching at Regina, and I feel blessed to be part of such a great team of faculty and staff. Most of my experience at Regina has been teaching students in first and third grades.  I had switched to our Learning Center to be a reading resource teacher the year before the pandemic hit, but decided to go back to having my own classroom when a 2nd grade position opened. I missed the regular classroom! I am a life-long learner as well as a teacher, and I have enjoyed the challenge of teaching at a different grade levels. 

I am a very proud mother of two sons. My oldest, Jake, is a Major in the Army. He is stationed in Colorado Springs and has a beautiful family: wife Becky, and three beautiful children. I miss them all immensely, but I FaceTime with them as much as possible! 

My other son, Zach, is married to his sweetheart, Tara, and they have a beautiful one year old daughter and an eight month old son. Yay! (I love being a grandma!)

He and his family live in the Chicago area. Lots of Facetime with his family as well, but nice that they are only about four hours away! 

My husband's name is Mike.  He just retired last April and is loving it!

I am very grateful to be teaching such a wonderful 2nd grade class!
