In an effort to increase families knowledge of College and Career Readiness, and in preparation for college and beyond, the Strong Workforce Program High School Consortium has developed a series of workshops for parents.

The 9th-12th grade initiative is implementing career readiness and CTE exploration curriculum in classrooms around Imperial County.

F.I.R.S.T. Families Investing in Readiness & Seamless Transitions is a 5-lesson series parents will engage in workshops to learn strategies to apply with their student to increase their knowledge of university and postsecondary options in order to help them reach career success.
