The Zonal Outreach for Newcomer Engagement (ZONE) program is an initiative funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The model aims to have a dedicated settlement agency in each neighbourhood or region of the city that provides support, referrals, and various ongoing supports for newcomers. Determined by the postal code of residence, the newcomers can now access the settlement services closer to home! Learn More
Settlement services and agencies provide free support to newcomers at every step of the newcomer's journey. Settlement services offer support in various areas, including career, housing, healthcare, immigration, education, and more. When you begin using settlement services in Canada, a Settlement Worker will connect with a newcomer to provide one-on-one support for the settlement process.
