I am very Happy to be teaching your child Spanish this year. I am looking forward to a fun and successful school year. This is my first year at Ichabod Crane Middle School, but it is my 30th year teaching Spanish and French. I have taught 6th grade to college level classes of both languages in the last 30 years. I was born in Argentina and I grew up in Puerto Rico and Norwich NY area. I graduated from SUNY Cortland for my bachelors and SUNY Oneonta for my masters. I was recently living in the Rochester area then moved to Albany. I have 2 grown children a young lady and a young gentleman. I love sports, I participated in swimming my whole life and Track in college. Since starting teaching I have been a soccer, softball, swim and track coach. I have coached throwers for indoor and outdoor track for the past 7 years. I studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain and have traveled to the Ecuador, Mexico, France, Spain and throughout South America and the Caribbean. I love traveling, going to the beach, singing, making art, visiting museums, sewing, crafting and cooking international dishes. I also love walking my 3 rescue dogs, hanging out with my old lady rescue cat .
