Journeys
Every 5th grade class uses the district's Journeys reading series. Over the course of this year, we will follow the literacy pathway, which will allow us to teach reading skills and strategies through the anchor texts in the series. We will be reinforcing those same skills and strategies through our long established routines such as book clubs, small groups, book chats, and read alouds.
