CHRISTMAS CONCERT

Loro Piceno Secondary School students held a Christmas Concert in Santa Maria's church, on 14th December 2018.

“Fermarono i cieli” with the soloist Chiara Marcucci (2 A), “Adeste Fideles” with the soloists Brigida Pelagatti (2 A), Sara Palmaverdi and Mariasole Riposati (2 A), “Noel” and “In Notte Placida” with the soloist Lucia Miconi (2 A), “Hark The Herald Angels sing”, ”Puer Natus In Bethelem” and Bianco Natale (sung just by the 1 A students ) were performed.

They were accompanied by Edoardo Maria Scarafoni on the oboe and Tiziana Muzi on the organ and they were directed by Maestro Alessandro Pucci.

Agnese Gallenzi partecipated, too with “Ave Maria” by Schubert and “Panis Angelicus” by San Tommaso d’Aquino.

At the end of the concert, the head teacher spoke and Loro Piceno deputy Mayor thanked the students and wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

The students and the teachers expressed their gratitude to "Don Claudio" and "Padre Pietro" who were very helpful in hosting them.

The pupils of the Secondary School of Urbisaglia held the Christmas concert in Saint Lorenzo’s church on 16th december at 9:00 p.m. At the concert , the pupils sang Christmas songs and it finished with two talented students: Nicola Carassai (3 B) as a solo voice accompanied by Benedetta Antonelli (2 B) on the piano.

Special thanks was due to Maestro Carradori who enabled the realization of this magnificent show, despite his fractured wrist.
