This video demonstrates that the lifespan of surface bubbles is affected by changes in surface tension and viscosity. In the case of mezcal, this characteristic has been used to determine when the beverage is ready for consumption. This video was produced in collaboration with Roberto Zenit and Mónica Wilhelmus.
This video shows the collision of spheres made of a viscoelastic material on a solid surface. The video was produced while I was part of Roberto Zenit's laboratory and in collaboration with René Ledesma. The video was presented in 2008 at the American Physical Society's Gallery of Fluid Motion.
